My Lunch Box (and mommy's crappy job at cutting my bangs)

Check out my lunch box! I bring my lunch box to school everyday because I eat lunch at school with my teachers and friends. My favorite meals are peanut butter+jelly sandwich, potato salad, and cheeze pasta.

This is my school! www.mchkids.com

Jewelry Design Class

As Noah started preschool, Aika signed up for a jewelry/metalsmithing class (every thursday from 9am to 1pm). Today was her first class and she loved it! The teacher was very personal and the environment was inspiring. The first project was sawing. We designed or picked a pattern and sawed it on a piece of copper plate. It was a lot of fun to be creative and hands-on!

I am ready for school!

So, I am going through what every mother at some point goes through. The first week of sending your child to school. Noah turned two last Christmas and both Joseph and I feel like he's ready for more exploring. Of course, another big reason is so that I can get some rest and spend some time with the new baby. The first three days we 'started slowly'. Joseph went in to the classroom with Noah and stayed with him (but not interacting, just observing) for about an hour, letting Noah be introduced to this new surrounding. The second day, Joseph said bye to Noah and told him he would come back in two hours. As Noah has been going to Sunday schools at church, I think he thought this was another Sunday school class, so he took it well and let Joseph go with a confident "bye-bye!". And when Joseph picked him up two hours later, he had some tears in his eyes, but was pretty happy.

Check out my new stroller

As we left our old stroller back in Taiwan, we got a new stroller today for some outings in Spring. And it's a jogging stroller!!! Does this mean Daddy or Mommy are going to start jogging with me?
Some tips: Go to www.dealnews.com and type in coupons or the item you are searching for, it will tell you what stores are having specials and also let you print out discount coupons for you to use in the stores.

Higher?

Swings have never been Noah's favorite in the park...but after seeing Audrey on the swing, Noah wanted to try it out today.
